As IFC President, Andrew advocates on behalf of the Greek community to University administration, OFSL, SUA, and leads the rest of the executive board in weekly tasks.
Serving as the unifying and governing body for 29 Interfraternity Council fraternities at the University of Minnesota, the Interfraternity Council (IFC) is the largest men's group on campus.
The IFC legislative body is composed of the council's executive board and delegates from each chapter. IFC creates and implements policies, programs, and training opportunities for its members. The Interfraternity Council serves as a liaison between the Greek community and various departments and offices within the University of Minnesota. The council focuses on recruitment, social issues, leadership development, community service, campus involvement, Greek spirit, and academic achievement. Its officers follow the local IFC constitution and bylaws as well as the North-American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) Resolutions. The NIC's purpose is to assist collegiate and alumni IFC organizations while providing leadership programs and training for collegians.
IFC officers attend weekly meetings with the executive committee, Panhellenic Council, and fraternity and sorority advisers throughout the University of Minnesota campus. They also guide the Greek community by assisting other officers and chapters.
The Interfraternity Council works to make the Greek community a better place at the University of Minnesota.
