Serving as the unifying and governing body for 28 IFC fraternities at the University of Minnesota, the Interfraternity Council (IFC) is the largest men's group on campus. The IFC legislative body is composed of the council's executive board and delegates from each of the member chapters. IFC creates and implements policies, programs, and training opportunities for its member organizations, and serves as a liaison between the Greek community and various departments and offices within the University of Minnesota. The council focuses on recruitment, social issues, leadership development, community service, campus involvement, Greek spirit, and academic achievement.

IFC officers attend weekly meetings with the executive committee, Panhellenic Council, and fraternity and sorority advisers throughout the University of Minnesota campus. They also guide the Greek community by assisting other officers and chapters.

The Interfraternity Council works to make the Greek community a better place at the University of Minnesota.
